Drapers' Academy achieves best-ever A Level Results

Congratulations to Drapers’ Academy, who have achieved their best-ever A Level results this year.

Most of the Sixth Form's students are heading off to University to continue studying a wide range of degrees including medicine, law, engineering, and artificial intelligence in psychology.  We look forward to discovering the ongoing path the students take as they join the Sixth Form Alumni network.

Here are just a few examples of their students' achievements:

Valeria Prisacaru achieved A* grades in Biology, Economics and Psychology and will study Law at Brasenose College, University of Oxford."I’m pleasantly surprised and proud of my results, I worked really hard. I am excited to be going to Oxford to study Law at Brasenose College. I am looking forward to all the different areas of law I’ll be studying, especially Criminal Law as I think it will be really interesting. I am also really looking forward to being on the campus as it’s amazing there. I’ve shared the news with my family and they are so excited for me, my mum was crying and is really proud. I’ve really enjoyed Sixth Form at Drapers’ and I have made so many friends that I know I’ll keep in touch with."

Yasmin Lewis achieved an A* in Sociology and two A grades in Psychology and Business.

Pacey Ward, who has been at the Academy since Year 7, achieved A* grades in Maths and Economics.

Paula Vabale achieved three A grades in Law, Sociology and Psychology and will study Law at Queen Mary University of London.

Rihana Axhami achieved three A grades in Art and Design, Business Studies and Maths and will study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at university.

Zeynep Parlak achieved two A grades and two B grades and will study Medicine at UCL.

Behind every grade is years of hard work, resilience and support from the school’s incredible staff and families.

As Principal, I am delighted that so many of our year 13 students will be successfully moving on to the next stage of their education. The excellent teaching and unparalleled support and opportunities they receive at Drapers’ Academy Sixth Form have equipped them with a strong academic foundation to ensure they achieve highly, along with the values of kindness, respect and purposefulness to ensure they will continue to contribute positively to their community and beyond it.This year's outstanding results are testament to the hard work, resilience and determination our students have demonstrated over the past two years. As they continue on their journeys, via whichever route they have chosen, we hope that the skills, values and experience they have gained whilst at Drapers' Academy continue to propel them on a path to success.
